Dr. Antonio Salas grew up in Arizona before moving to California to study biology at Santa Clara University. After graduating, he spent a year conducting research at the National Institutes of Health. He then attended Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He stayed at Johns Hopkins to complete his Internal Medicine residency followed by Rheumatology fellowship.
During fellowship, he developed a keen interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound and earned certification in rheumatology musculoskeletal ultrasound (RhMSUS). He joined Annapolis Rheumatology after completing his training and sees patients at both the Annapolis and Pasadena offices.
